The key that came with the scoot for this ignition is the wrong one, I'm pretty certain. Perry at Totally Scooters reckons that these type of ignition switches were common m/bike ones from the time, possibly Honda. I can't see any on the internet.

Basically, I need an ignition switch that'll work on a Battery Lynx with indicators, and will fit in a 22mm diameter hole on the top of the Lynx headset.

Anyone any ideas?

Would item 35105 on the "Vehicle Wiring Products" website work?

Ta for any help, lads

Soulpunk, thanks for this ;)

I'll check the wiring diagram I've got to see whether it can be wired through 4 connections. As you can see from my photo, there are 6 connections with 5 wires, one of which is an earth :?

SP, yeah, the 2 wiring diagrams I've got for the battery Lynx show a 6 point switch with 5 being utilised. Have you any further ideas?

Thanks again Paul

PS, Another kind soul has put me onto Lambretta Works in the States who may be able to supply me with a key based on the barrel number.
