Evening,

I have a 5 pin ducati regulator

a 3 pin which came with my indian 12v ignition...................

was wondering if the 5 pin can be used but just using the same 3 pin arrangement..

i have a idea you can't.. just would rather use the ducati regulator if i could..

theres no problem using it as you may know the 2 extra wires are for charging a battery and any surplus powers is dumped as heat
you maybe confused with a battery stator that might burn out it is run without a battery connected ive never burnt one out though
