Hi There,
I am almost finishing up a rebuild. I am converting to an AC setup.
My setup is bgm stator ducati regulator/cdi. I’ve taken out the old wiring loom (DC).
I just wanted to double check if it would be ok to hook up my stator – cdi – regulator together to test start the scoot as well as to set the timing without connecting the brown output from (wiring loom) the regulator as well as the green output or input (whichever way you want to look at it) from the cdi (engine cut out)? Reason for this is I haven't sorted out the wiring in the headset/ignition/brake light+front brake light switch/indicators front and back.
i’ll have the cdi earthed/regulator earthed/frame to engine earth wire connected.
Thanks
