What condition is the exhaust, could be blocked up or collapsed baffle if it an old one, had this problem myself many moons ago? At 50mph is it screaming as in fully open or does it feel like it wants to give more but cant.

Check squish clearance, if its anything like the last one I took apart, then I wouldnt expect it to make much power...

hi , slide is fully opening , seems to want to go faster but can`t , 4th seems tobe more of an overdrive , carb runs better without a filter on it , jetting idle 48 , main 121 , choke 50 , 200 type slide , just change the exhaust have loaned a scootrs expansion pipe , better on pulling away , but still playing up at top end , timing is at 19 , carb is spitting fuel at low revs but ok when you open it up , also after last run carb was smoking via slide mouth when i stopped it . :bald:
