pick-up no lining up on BGM and AF flywheel.

Hey Guys,

So I’m trying to install a BGM stator and Li taper AF flywheel on a bike. The pick up doesn’t line up with the trigger magnets on the flywheel. The pick up looks to be about 5mm too low. I know it’s common to have to remove a laminate or two to drop the pick up a couple of mm but I seem to have the opposite issue. Has anyone ever run into this issue before?

Had same issue with BGM and SIL flywheel. I put suitable spacers (washers) between the stator plate and mag-housing. I could have just spaced out the pickup, but assumed if the pick-up was wrong the coils would be too.
