Are you using 6 volt or 12 volt system? Which stator plate? LED rear bulbs help but in my experience not too bright on the Li type light housing.

on the 6 pole stator (no battery) the brake light is a different coil to the main lights and shouldnt affect it.
what is your set up ?

The dimming of the headlight is normal on 12v Indian electronic set ups. As Soulsurfer says, fit an LED rear lamp and the problem will go away. Just make sure you get one with LEDS sticking out to the sides as well ar to the rear.

A bonus of fitting an LED rear lamp is that you can fit a higher wattage headlamp 8-)
