am thinking of buying a series 2 lambretta, but what should i be looking for when buying one?

whats the main diferences between indian and italian machines?

how easy is it to fit a gp200 engine into a s2 and at what cost?

any other advice?

the indian one might have a chapatti in the toolbox

The bodwork is a bit different on Indian S2s. A new GP200 engine will fit straight in but you'll need a series 2 kickstart lever.

indian series 2,s have slightly squarer leg shields at the top, no panel levers, entirely different type of speedo & a less defined shaped front mudguard. sure there are other differences as well
