I am fitting a PHBH28mm carb to my GP and have two questions really:-
1.Do most fit the air hose for the filter to the intake side of the carb (threaded) or use some kind of adaptor as the seal between them does not appear to be very secure?
2. Which is the best way to have the fuel inlet banjo pipe facing for trouble free fuel delivery, pointing up,down or to the side?
Thanks guys

Breath sweet remote filter (large one) from Tino (CamLam),secures tightly on the plastic belmouth.
You'll also need a MBD downdrought manifold so that it will have an angle to the inside of the lammy, otherwise it will foul with the panels.
The banjo faces as the original SH carbs, down with an angle.
This makes the route of the hose very short.

Cheers. Already have the MB manifold.....carb is fitted..........I'm using a standard GP rubber inlet hose with a foam filter and the fit of the hose to the carb is not as secure as I would like it to be............so I should fit the plastic bellmouth back on?

Yes,if you have the breath sweet remote.
The hose of the breath sweet is larger in diameter (55mm I think).
Using a standard hose,it wont fit with the plastic bellmouth,as it will be too small in diameter (40+mm I think).

When it's set up I'll post the results in the carb section.
