Just taken my flywheel off to get lightened and ive noticed theres a small drop of oil in the bottom well of the mag housing ! is this anything to worry about ? the engine has recently been fully rebuilt with new bearing/seals etc !!

If its just a drop, I'd say not to worry. It can be easy to overpack the magside bearing with grease, and after its all together, a little can get forced through the seal.

Being the only lubrication that the left side bearing is going to get, some people (like myself) tend to overpack that side with hot poin melting grease. It just does that, it melts and high temps, hence the overbooking inside the magflange and the small drop coming off the seal. I would agree with dapper. No worries mate. Happy scooting!

It might just be that the fan on the flywheel has drawn a little oil in, if it's been dripping any fuel or when you have filled up... After a while the petrol evaporates and just leaves the oil... It happens with my GP...

I've taken the stator off and all looks nice and dry , no oil channels ! i think maybe some fuel or crap has dripped down the stator wire sleeve down to the bottom of the housing ! :)
