I took one of my wheels back to the shop that fitted my tyres as i had a slow puncture they found the valve wouldn't seat,
but more worrying was their report into my rim it bent when the levered the tyre on and off and in their opinion the rims had a limited life,(you can't keep bending them back in to shape) has anyone else come across this.
The shop used tyre levers and rim protectors

With tubeless due to the Lambretta hub design determining the wheel design and subsequent tight fit of the tyre the damage is done when removing the tyre so if there's a valve problem deflate the tyre and push the tyre wall out of the way ie to one side do not remove it. If the tyre has punctured or worn out cut it off rather than attempt to remove it with levers or machines. Fitting a new tyre by an experienced tyre fitter shouldn't present a problem. I've had 3 sets of tyres on my scootrs ones with no probs.

I'd agree on the part of bending the rim, I'd imagine that it will cause metal fatique. Find a fitter that doesn't bend them when fitting the tyres and always cut the old tyre off. I think after 3 sets of tyres I'd be buying new rims if there's been any damage to the rim. If they're stainless steel they probably need binning if there's been any damage fitting tyres.

I made 2 3mm thick steel discs 1 fractionaly smaller than the rim at the outside so it fits just inside ,the second the same diameter as the outside of the rim then welded the 2 together .
this then drops into the rim supporting it all round the top plate means you lever against this not the rim, it doesnt stop you damaging the paint but you cant bend the rim because it is supported all round.
I will post some pic's if I can work out how

Paul
