I'd let the tank get really low and needed to clean the tap & carb out as fuel wasn't flowing as it should.
whilst I had it all off i thought i'd give the VHSA a good service and try out an Amal mkII I've had for over 20 years.
I have been picking up bits and pieces for it recently so put them all together with what I thought would work best with my Mugello 186 & Mikeck.
it started first kick, revved more than before and rode fine :D
I'll do some plug chops and it needs a bit of fine tuning, but I was pleased.
I've always liked Amals, they just look the part hanging out the side, and great induction roar!
