strange indian speedo / headset

never seen a speedo like this before.
i heard there have been gp-headsets like this, but the speedo seems strange.
the only j-range scooters i know from sil are 100cc ones which where called "sunny" and not "cento" like @ innocenti. these had sx headsets like on late gp200 export versions.
ok, -blabla..now my question: have there been earlier versions of 100cc j-ranges made in india with a speedo like this ?
