rapido 250 what set up ?

just bought myself a rapido 250 , wondering what setup you guys are using ?
i want torque rally going power , no crazy revving monster !
suggestions welcome

hi,running mine with a scorpion pipe,tmx 35,inlet manifold matched to barrel,transfers on casing and barrell matched,li 150 box,16 tooth front sprocket,,timing strobed at 16 deg,squish 1.5mm,its a revvy mutha with the power coming in at about 5500rpm,did 22.3 bhp and 14.63 ft.lbs on scootereroticas dyno,if you are after a tourer,similar set up with a jl3 exhaust,cheers all.

hi im running a jl3 with 34mm delly gp200 gear box with 19 / 48 sprockets 20bhp 14lbs of torque dyno at chiselspeed

might even build one with a 48mm clubman insted of expansion exhaust , anybody used the
rapido 250 with a 48mm clubman ?

i use with an ancillotti clubman ,35tmx and its crap with a capital p

ct , it seems mines a " race " , no idea what the difference with the classic is .

i keep meaning to fit my mk1 pm but never have enuff time
mine will pull a trailer with 60 kilo and a weeks worthing of clothing for me and wifey combined weight bout 30 stone at 65mph(gps) all day at half throttle but thats it .

Mark, I think AF now do a 'Classic' version as they did with the Rapido 225's which has more consevative port timing.

Then you should have bought the classic and not the race.
I'm building one at the moment and plan on using a TM24 and the new 48mm clubman, with tall(ish) gearing.
