clutch slip

my clutch has been heavy since i baught the scoot ,so stripped it down it has surflex plates and centre spring as well as normal ones,i got some mb ultimate springs,fitted it all up,lever is alot easier but on adjusting the clutch up i can either have clutch drag or tighten it up and then it slips cant find a happy medium,any sugestions on what to do ,will a five plate clutch go in or do i need a modified crown wheel and bell or put centre spring back in and live with the pain it causes in my hand lol, cheers peter

Did you soak the plates overnight? What set up do you have, all standard? On what engine?

yes plates weere soaked in st 90,its a tuned engine harry barlow challenger kit 190 reedvalv e ,it was ok with a centre spring just too stiff with a small amount of drag ,but hurt my hand,i know wot a pussy,will a beedspeed 5 plate with 1.2 steels fit a standard spider \and sprocket,thanks peter
