did they put the carb on the "wrong"side ?
it might have been covered before, but why did Terry Shepherd design the TS1 with the carb on the right.
just fitted my first TS(I LIKE TO KEEP UP WITH THE TIMES! )battery tray, cables all get in the way of the carb.
There must be a reason why he did this ,anybody know why ?

Because the frame tube is off-centre, and you get more room and a smoother entry having the inlet on the 'wrong' side.

The only reed kit with left hand inlet is the small-carb version of the GT, but even that has inlet on the TS1 side for the optional 30mm manifold.
