just doing about 40mph and it just died like id run out of petrol full tank though done all the usual checks cleaned carb checked its sparking changed spark plug made sure the petrol cap isnt blocked but still wont start checked all the electrics

is the plug getting wet ? if it is then its more likley to be electrical if its not then is a fuel problem.
This is the basic check when it wont start. then its a process of elimination.
If you have a spark is it a strong one ?
First off change the plug, because faulty ones can still spark!
Check stator has not come loose and moved again it will still spark (just not in the right place)
The other thing it could be if every thing else is ok is execessively worn rings. to check this instead of stripping down pour a little oil down the plug hole is should then start for a minute any way !

could possibly be a faulty pick up box on the stator plate
