Going to fit a leghield toolbox at weekend, Im sure I have seen somewhere lately some pics but just cant remember.
Its a fibreglass one I bought of a mate of his indian GP..tried it inside my leggys before spraying and it fit like a glove..It has 2 brackets just need to know the correct height from the top of the leggys to set it also thinking of mounting with riv nuts for ease of removal would there be enough space behind the legshields to the frame for the back of the riv nut..?

Got a metal one on my GP, if you can wait I'll measure the distance between the top of the box and legshield beading. Although I did fit one myself a couple of years ago and just sat on the scoot, held the box in position so that it was in the right place (legroom etc) and drew around it with a soft pencil for positioning. Worked for me.
I'm not sure about your fixings as the box I fitted came with all fixings.

The fibreglass one I have has one central fixing at the top, which I use a self tapper, and two at the bottom which utilise the mudguard bolts. These dictate the height. I can post pics but these are on Series 3.

took horncast off loosened leggies pushed em forward a bit nut through, . drilled hole doulbe nutted .so if you only got two brackets you can go up or down as far as you want just get a measurement off lads from top off leggies to top of toolbox .

Top surface of my box is 10cm below the lower edge of the legshield beading, measuring against the frame tunnel.

It'll only do that in one exact place, drop or raise it an inch and it won't fit as well.
Start by masking the inside of the leggies then tracing the outline onto the masking tape and don't forget to leave enough space to put your foot on the brake pedal, a mistake I almost made.
