Stuttering at high revs
I have a problem with scoot stuttering at high revs, which is more pronounced when in 2/3rd gears. Everything on the scoot is completely standard. (TV 200). Should I be looking at an electrical problem or possibly carburettor. Any suggestions very welcome, Thanks
Difficult to say from your description. You say the scoot is standard? If it were a 12v conversion, I would suspect the cdi.
Alternatively it could be a jetting issue.

I think it was Dan on here who once said ,`
if it revs out on the stand it`s usually jetting, if it wont rev out it`s usually electrical `

If it’s a cheap Mitsubhi CDI show it the bin & get a Ducati one m8
Thanks for the suggestions, I discovered the fault when out riding today when the scoot lost all power and came to a grinding halt., Turns out it was as simple as a dodgy spark plug cap which was not gripping the plug securely. So a quick replacement and off she went. Proves problems are sometimes down to the simplest of things.
