The best forum on line, Scooterotica ?
this was the go to forum before drunkmonkey left to run Scootering mag .

All the kids left to play on facebook, it's been the ruination of many a good forum.

In my opinion, Dan's new job was just coincidence.

Facebook seems to be the main discussion forum now, but personally, I f&*King hate it; it's full of pointless comments and baseless opinions.

Like you, I find it sad that what was a very useful and interesting forum is little more than somewhere I look back to for carb settings from years ago.

The world turns, I guess.

Unfortunately a lot of those who made it interesting got band. There was also a core of knowledgeable contributors (half a dozen ?) who brought some good advice to the forum. Unfortunately when they drifted away there hasn't been quality replacements. Certainly for Lambrettas this now leaves the LCGB website as the last bastion of Lambretta on-line forums.

Yeah the forum is a bit quiet these days and doesn't seem as fun as it used to. I'm on a few facebook groups and they can be bitch -fests and can get a bit much. The LCGB forum is still quite active but went on the Vespa Small frame forum the other day ( first time in a while) and its dead on there, even the moderators can't be arsed it seems. I still like the forum arrangement and hopefully as more people get pissed off with face palm and the like- they may come back on here... we shall see , those bloody ads don't help though!

Tapatalk app on the phone or tablet deals with the ads well.

I’d guess Facebook and twitter killed off the forum more than it being Dan and Sean not around any more
C’est la vie
