R1 shock

Evening Guys,
Can a R1 shock with a horizontal gas cylinder be used and still be able to use my side panels ?

Not on a Series 3, not sure about Series 2

R1/R6 conversion shockies with the horizontal gas canister are best suited for cutdowns. As there is no clearance between the sidepanel and the shock absorber (on my GP anyways)........

gonna use the ally billet parts off the wrong type and swop for the rusty chrome ones on this new un...
once the springs replaced..
