Hello friends!

First ever foray with this forum lark so please forgive any errors on my part!

Been into scooters since my school days, the mod revival & then the natural progression to Scooterboy! First run was Gt.Yarmouth 1984 the last Kelso 2019, dipped in & out but always find myself drawn back.

Started with a PK50 (Pinasco 90cc kit, I adored it) swapped it for an ochre Cometa (not for me). Brand spanking red T5 (‘86 plate, mk1 with digital rev counter, no front break light, wish I still had it). SX150 (cut down, sorry purists), Li 125 (x3) & too many P-range Vespa’s to list.

Currently riding a 1980 Vespa P200E (tobacco brown/orange, Pinasco 225cc) & a 2004 Vespa PX 125 (BGM 177 etc............ 23/65 clutch & primary which pulls my 16 stone, ex-squaddie lard arse uphills & into headwinds, no problem, I imagine if Vespa had done a 200cc T5 it would’ve been something like this, absolutely love it). I also have a ‘73 Vespa Sprint to build but not 100% sure which direction to go?

I like to do all the spannering myself (built not bought type of sentiment but that’s just a personal choice not an indictment of the choices of others) & I’m none too fussed about these new fangled 4 stroke machines (or the future in general)! 2 stroke & gears for me every time but again just my preference not a judgement!

Thanks for reading, Andy.

Thanks lads, had to have a lie down after all that brain effort & let the grey matter cool down for 10 mins, my head had audible pinking & a possible soft seize!
