Any recommendations for a suitable torque wrench?

Halfords sell a couple of good wrenches big one 50 to 240 small one 4 to 45 nm well calibrated around £80

A very important point Essential as we have both LH & RH threads to contend with.

In the main, I use 3/8" square drive sockets on scooters, with use of 1/4" & 1/2" when necessary or easier.

The 3/8" torque wrench I can recomend is Norbar. It was all I could afford @ the time, that met the criteria, so has a 'push through' drive square. It only goes up to about 50 lb/ft but that means it is likely to be more accurate in the limited range. That said, I have used it for a lot of cylinder head nuts, sprocket tightening & flywheel securing!

Thanks guys. I'll need one in the 20Nm range for the cylinder head nuts.

Norbar are a good choice as well

I have these, good enough for what I need them for

I use the Halfords ones as well good quality and do the job

Norbar is my choice.... I won't buy anything from Halfrauds...
