Disc brake windows.

I’ve just purchased an original type remade disc brake with the windows. Is there a specific way of fitting the windows in the hub? I can’t seem to make them fit and don’t want to snap them. Thanks in advance Pete.

I have only ever used old, possibly original, ones. They are pliable to a degree. I just put the smaller end in first and then the outer just clicks in.

Just drop them in a mug of boilin water for a few minutes, that will soften them up enough to snag them in
