Is there a trick to getting it out so I can drill the 3 holes slightly larger?

Thx

Thinking about some more. Guessing tap the ring so one end is in a hole so I can get a pick under it?

a small bladed long flat screwdriver in one of the holes nearest one of the ends of the wire circlip; push against the clip through the hole just enough to get another thin bladed screwdriver in from the outside between the clip and the disc; once you’ve got that far you can lever the clip out

This worked. Thanks. Now onto the drilling.

The drilling oversize is not necessary if the three holes are cleaned up along with the pins & reassembled with copper type grease. Likewise, the anti-rattle circlip does precisely what it should. In fact, any spare discs that I have are those modified by well intentioned previous owners. The reason that Innocenti designed the product in the way they did is to prevent flutter of the disc & also to limit any tendency to drag on the static pad.

Reverse pull, the stoutest Bowden cable that you can fit (wound rectangular section outer) & sintered pads with careful assembly will result in a good front brake with lots of feel, not an on-off switch.

Another vote for not drilling out the holes.
I used a valve guide cleaning brush. Or maybe it was for cleaning some part of Diesel equipment. Anyway, a reasonably stiff wire "bristle" brush. If you can fit it in a drill so much the better.
