ts1 30mm dellorto bgm clubman

hi chaps,been jetting a ts230, 30mm dellorto, bgmv3 clubman, sx200 gearbox 46 16 gearing with a lth lefthand manifold
after looking on here i saw jet details of 135 main 55 pilot x7 with av266 2nd clip,40 slide,which i started with
bike ran well but was boggy upto 1/8 throttle and felt weak mid range.
after reading a thread on here it was suggested a rich needle/atomiser combo and small main jet was preferable to a weaker needle/atomizer and large main jet.
so i am now running 135 main x13 top clip av266 and a 45 slide,which cured most of the 1/8 throttle bogginess,i can still feel a slight hesitance or flat spot at mid range,could this be the pipe before it come on power ?.
so i am thinking of trying a av268 x13 2nd clip and keeping the 135 main ? to richen up the mid range a bit more to be safe,as realistacally most riding is done a 1/4 to 3/4 throttle with a occasional blast at full throttle
do you think the main is safe ?
by the way i tried a x2 needle and it 4 stroked from idle to coming on main jet,so don't think i am far off,i am paranoid about popping it as have paid a small fortune for the kit,cheers all
