swapping carb bits

Hi all,
I'm currently restoring 2 S2 TV175's, my plan is to keep them standard and see how they ride. One has the uprated 21mm BS7 carb and the other has the older 21mm BS5.
I've read somewhere the BS5 is prone to flooding. I've found a 19mm BS7 in my pile of odds and sods, so the question is can I simply swap the float mechanism from the 19mm BS7 and upgrade the 21mm BS5? Or am I missing something obvious?

cheers Steve

According to people much more knowledgeable than myself, the LI/2 used a different BS7 float (#5561) to the TV/2 BS7 float (#5565), difference being recess on the metal pin that the float lever hooks onto is lower on the LI/2 type than the TV/2 type.

Here are the parts need to convert a BS5 TV/2 carb to a BS7 type
