The chisel will leave marks in the crank. I could file them down if I wanted to try and fix it, but I'll just bin it.
Hope this helps someone.

I've got this tool and tried 3 times to get mag bearing track off, without success,in the end I had to resort to grinding it off.hendy wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 10:26 pm I use this. Means I can use it for a load of other jobs besides.

Do you mean on 3 different cranks or 3 times on the same crank?HxPaul wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2019 8:41 amI've got this tool and tried 3 times to get mag bearing track off, without success,in the end I had to resort to grinding it off.hendy wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 10:26 pm I use this. Same here, no problems on any crankshaft. I think if it had a longer bolt the same tool could be used on SX and GP cranks.Norrie Bodge wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 9:13 am Good Tip
