I know its not rocket science but Ive newver had a scooter that I wanted them fitted on before .......
Ive fitted gaitors on stadard escort dampers to the TV I`m doing and I`m not really happy with the gaps at either end of the damper if you know what I mean ...?

Am I just being too fussy or have I missed a tick somehow ???

Black cable ties work wonders with the gaiters stopping them moving up and down under braking and rebound.

They’re from a BSA Bantam, and unless someone has redesigned them specifically for Lambretta dampers they’ll always be a little loose and slightly too short.

As mentioned above, a small zip-tie fastened around the top will stop them sliding down.
