Fit a new bgm stator/flywheel and the pickup catches the black lining on the flywheel right after the magnet.
What's the fix for it?

thanks for the link rosscla
im thinkin the black lining is the magnets; why not get your crankshaft checked for alignment likely tis twisted out of true or cud be splayed

The pickup is rubbing just over half way round so to me that would indicate that the crankshaft was out of true.

Sck on the other hand say I should file down the pickup 😲

I know this isn't the correct way to measure but it's all I can do until I strip it.

How much run out is permitted?
I thought max 0.05 is the normal.
Looks like I'll have to strip the motor ando measure it in my lathe.

Scooter center are not being very helpfull. It feels like they are misunderstanding me on purpose.

Im going to buy a new crankshaft and rebuild the motor then put the crankshaft in the lathe and measure it propper before I throw my toys out of the pram at them.
