J50 electronic ignition

Hi all wanting to put electronic ignition on my j50 ( don't say varitronic can't justify spending £300 on ignition system for a j ) some one must have cobbled a system together thanks in advance

Look up Anthony Tambs and see if he can work something out to fit his external pickup to your existing flywheel and configure a stator to suit. This may be a viable and reasonably priced way to go. However, I don't know if the configuration of a Lui stator suits for such a conversion.
