I've been given a handful of stainless steel K Nuts. They are an interesting idea, and it will be interesting to see how they compare to conventional nylocs on wheel rims. The base of the nut is serrated and it looks as if they really ought to be used in conjunction with Nord Lock washers. Although, I think the top of the thread is crimped anyway, so they are unlikely to come undone. Anybody out there using them?
