Hi,

Couldn't find a clear example in stickys book so...

Damper washers in my kit I have 8 washers- 4 wavy washers, 2 small normal thick washers and 2 slightly larger thick washers and 4 nylon nuts. On bottom stud mount if i split the washers evenly its too short for the nyloc to fit properly.

Is stud, damper, thick washer, nyloc correct sequence?

For front hub I appear to be missing something as the gap is too large between the disc links. Anyone have a good pic of the assembly of the LH side?

Most studs are too short for a lot of after market front dampers. I'll measure up the longer ones and I've and you can work out if they're better. I put an 18 or 20mm washer on the stud then fit the damper, then another 18/20 washer, then spring washer, then nylock (or preferably) Binx nut.

Not sure what the issue is with the gap on your hub, maybe extra 12mm washer will sort it?

Cheers Martin, trying to find the original studs in the box of old crap parts and measure them. I found a top hat Bush yesterday that's covered in grease so guess that's the missing part but it's the same as the bush that goes in the frame for the fuel on off lever assy
