Painted motor mounts

I’ve had a few motors come through with painted white motor mounts. All of them look to be original Innocenti. My question is has anyone else noticed this? I’ve never seen it mentioned before. I’ve seen them on a few TV175, my TV200 and some specials.
In the US it’s still very common to find untouched bikes and motors.
I have a couple of photos from an early 150 special but they are too large to post right now.
Thoughts?

Early LI 150s had them painted white.
It’s mentioned in stickies book appendix 10 page 255

Good to know. I’ll have to make sure the next restoration has that done. Thanks for the confirmation.

My TV175 unrestored had faded white paint on them, still on the carb side but I replaced the one on the kickstart side. The scoot is also in the US but I believe all the TV’s had them on.
I was on it this afternoon best scoot I’ve ever had, it’s a keeper.
