How to remove speedo drive if nut is burred

Use a little heat on the hub and then grips as WTF??? suggests

Or file the burs off till you can get a spanner on it

Mole grips are just ripping the soft brass to bits. It's jammed so tight I think the resistance is always going to be greater than the force the nut can take. Ive been trying heat as well from the start

Last desperate idea is to run a drill down the centre and hope that I can weaken it enough before I destroy the thread. Seems unlikely though

Got it in the end, before I broke it which was nice

a load of oil, 30 mins in the oven and getting the grips as tight as humanly possible helped a lot :D
