Any tips on fitting a kickstart pedal cover. These plastic ones are a pig to fit. I can get it so far on but not all the way so it slightly laps over the inside of the pedal.

Tried it with hot water and grease. Still won't go all the way over the pedal. There must be different type of covers. Hard plastic types and rubber ones.

As Garry says above hot, or rather boiling water, also works for brake pedal rubber, panel rubbers, legshield channel insert rubbers, and the plastic petrol tank drip tray..well it did for me anyway.

You may find that you have to trim the "hole" on the underside of the rubber where the kickstart lever meets the pedal bit. I've had to do that before on remade kickstart levers (and remade rubbers). I'm presuming the "shaft" part of the lever is fatter on the remade levers although I've never compared to an original.

As previously mentioned, soften it up by putting it in mug of boiling water, the water might cool quickly so throw it away and pour in some more, should go on easily.
