I think I know the answer already, but would you re-use this 4th gear?



As you can see, there's a lot of wear leaving just a ridge instead of a flat surface. The shaft is also a bit worn on the opposing surface and probably explains the 0.5mm play on the gears.

What do you think would case this, lack of oil perhaps?

It's come out of a 150 series 2 that I'm pulling apart for some winter fun.

Set up wrong or washer under cluster not there i would get a new one fit scooter restorations for a good Indian one or find a good Italian 4th
