Just rewiring my GP - there is an orange wire left over from the ignition key - supposed to connect to an orange on the switch but there isn't one? Any thoughts?

Orange is usually the headlight switch feed.
Find a wiring diagram ( back of sticky's book) To work out what's gone wrong. You might need to bell it out to be certain

Witch switch have you got as the ac white special is different to the dc gp one and that's maybe why there's no Orange wire
