I have a badly seized barrel-piston and crank in a small block S3 engine case. The casing itself is in excellent condition and I want it stripped out to bare. Any ideas how to get this all removed without damage? Or is there someone who can do this?

Any help/advise will be much appreciated

Rich

I got the studs out first to give more movement whent round the base of barell with an old wall scraper tapping it in to break the seal also hitting the barrell with a rubber mallet i then cut through the con rod to get the barell and piston off without damaging the casing

Engine out; stand on gearbox end; remove cowl and cylinder head; pour "Plus Gas" or similar into head space- leave a couple of days.

Apply heat to piston head area.

Try rotating the flywheel back and forth.

Use a wooded drift on the piston and hit with hammer.

Generally all of the above or a combination should free it.
