Grey speedo cable - which one ??

Hi, recently bought a new speedo for my series 1 & I can't work out which cable I need , the inner cable is the thicker type & fits & turns the speedo fine but ferrule that tightens onto the speedo is to big 
I found an old Italian ferrule that will tighten onto the speedo but won't go all the way up to the top of the indian cable! the cables I have are definitely Indian & they do work but the ferrules are just too big for the speedo 
, any info greatly appreciated
