I have a spare standard exhaust dug out of shed, the number on side is hard to read ,but it looks like igmua, cant read the rest, could this be original.
Cheers Ian
ORIGINAL EXHAUSTS ID
If it has IGM on its probabaly an original exhaust. I've never checked the full IGM numbers on the different standards exhausts and don't know all the differences. Some early, lower CC ones ones have a 'mushroom' baffle in that needs knocking out, I believe.
I've been a standard exhaust convert for a few years and post the last Scootering article, they are probabaly the best exhausts if you are only going up to a sensible 5/6K RPM.

assuming its still got the muggie kit on it- what are you going to do with it? I've got a complete top end (cylinder; head; piston carb inlet; Dellorto 20mm carb etc for a TV175 s3) plus an original S3 IGM marked exhaust. Swap?
