My Rapido 225 has been boggy at pull away since ive had it so I thought I would try weakening off the bottom end a tad
So do I move the needle up or down to weaken it off?

Moving your clip up will drop your needle down which will weaken it, also maybe take a look at your pilot jet size, good luck

Do one adjustment at a time m8?
Try putting a thin washer under the needle 1st
So it's in a half position between the clip slots

fit a new needle jet a worn needle jet gets ovalled and tapered with use; that'll make it rich and boggy av264 with X13 or 266 with X7 is the normal

Its only done 1500 miles since the carb was fitted by the previous owner and ive done 1200 of those, so its think its more down to settings but while ive got it to bits ill give it a try
