I know they are not the best and I don`t have them on my scoots but I`ve acquired very cheaply a newish 22mm Jetex to put on my mates rebuild. ( 150cc with a clubman ) .
I know they need some sorting out but what does this involve altogether ?
I`ve used Kehin`s for the past few years on my scoots and my knowledge of where to start ballpark jetting for these is pretty much zero . Does something need drilling out as with some poor quality OKO`s ?
Cheers for any help. He`s only going to be pottering about the locality.

Make sure you have the 150 slide first. It'll be the one with the large cut out. Make sure the float is clean, with no rough edges, and moves freely. Some do drill out the needle valve to get a better flow of fuel. But that may not be necessary on a 150. Change the jets to genuine Dell'orto ones. That's about it really.
I fitted a Jetex to my GP200 because a I couldn't get the 22mm Dellorto working properly and it runs great despite their bad reputation.
Check there is a gasket at the top as well worked on 3 bad runners allhad nottop gasket fitted and leaked air , I have never had any problem using them I suspect alot of people have change things on a poor running scooter one being the carb but becouse they havent done so systematically they dont know whats caused it and becouse a bloke down the pub said there shiite they get the blame

I bought one of eBay and it arrived with no jets and no float. Not impressed.
I think that was the last scooter part I bought off eBay
