Last weeks Scootering mag had an article about routing the rear brake cable with the carb on the standard LHS; easy.
However, with tuned engines and a carb on the RHS, the route is messy, so has anyone sorted out a good route that doesn't spring your carb off or wrap around the spark plug cap.

Having read the article myself, I thought I'd always done it wrongly, so decided to modify the route of the rear brake cable on my own SX (LH carburettor). I soon had to change it back as it caused issues with the spark plug cap. Even access to the plug itself was made difficult though I did persevere for about one day.
Perhaps the outer cable lengths & rigidity vary, but I'll carry on with the 'wrong' route as the brake works fine.
