Thinking of getting a disc brake. (Special with Mugello 198 and drum links)
Any thoughts ?
Inboard , outboard , hydraulic , pepper pot ? :?
Is it better/cheaper to buy a kit or separate bits ?
Any advice or recommendations welcome .

Cheers.

Hydraulic outboard with anti dive gets my vote if you like riding fast. You can get several different designs now .... drum style, inboard disc style, billet style and Pepperpot style, they're just 4 different hub designs, the actual braking is the same on all 4.
Because they work so well the front end tends to nose dive, you could fit harder springs and dampers to counteract this but then the front end becomes too hard and skittish and that's where the anti dive version comes into it's own and stops the need to stiffen the front end too much.
