Hi guys can anyone tell me if I can run without the little emulsion tube fitted above the pilot jet? If so what effect would this have on the pilot jet sizing? Currently fitted 50 pilot, CD1 emulsion tube.
Cheers for any replies Andy

Yes you can I run two vhsh carbs one on my rb2oo with a normal pilot jet 42 and a 45 in my ts230 the emulsion tube helps starting and up to quarter throttle I've had both mine dynod and perfectly safe just check plug colour

Cheers for the reply Garry, did you have to change (smaller/bigger size) the pilot to compensate for no emulsion tube?

Just to add with the 50 I didn't need choke to start with a 42 I need the choke

What jetting did you finish up using Andy on the RB20 race engine? I'd like to try a VHSH over the PHBH currently on my RB.

Martin, sorry for the delay in replying. I have sent you a PM with settings after Cadwell Park races, hope they help.
