I'm looking at buying a thread file is there one which is better suited to the lambretta.

Sykes pickavent make them ,ive had mine years, plenty of others on the Bay. But unless someone else recomends a cheap one and have used it ,remember ,buy cheap buy twice. Metric version you want obvioiusly.

What would you say was cheap? I've looked on the bay and the brand you mention is on at £ 15 is that cheap?

£15 seems reasonable to me.

If it's Sykes Plckavent ,I'd buy it at £15.00.

I got mine from Frost restoration a few years ago.

http://www.frost.co.uk/metric-thread-file.html imagine it's similar to what's on ebay. Never had an issue with it [apart from finding it when I need it].

I've got a few new ones I remove them from the thread repair kits at work if there returned and damaged pm me if you want one FOC
