Silly chain and sprocket combination?

I've just built an engine with a 16 x 47 sprocket combination plus 82 link chain. Obviously using pull down tensioner.
I would have bought 81 link but initially decided 17 x47 was the right ratio.
It fits but the run around the tensioner looks a bit iffy to me.
Had anyone ever run this combination without issues?
It's a good quality iwis chain.

Ive done 18-46 with 82 link chain and pull down tensioner, didnt look great, to much of a bow for my liking but on strip down several months later everything was fine.

I reckon mine will be worse than that. You've got one less on the back but I've got 2 less on the front.
I think I'll buy an 81 link chain unless anyone has a new one they want to swap for a fitted, but never run 82 link iwis?

Isnt the 81 link that awful thing some supplier sent me once with a split half link and a rather shite cotterpin arangement? I just couldn't bring myself to use it, got to be a better option.

Doesn't that depend on the manufacturer?
Iwis (held in high regard generally) do them, so I assume they're good but I've never actually seen one in the flesh so I can't speak with any authority on it.
Maybe you got one from one of the suboptimal (isn't politics great?) manufacturers?

or a little tack of weld on it would do the trick, af rayspeed braize half links on so they cannot come undone.
