hi
need some advise please just fitted a new oil seal on the mag housing with a new l shaped washer
the washer doesnt fit tight in the housing against the seal is this normal or do they come in a different size ?
i have tried 2 now both the same they look a couple of mm short
it could also be me being a bit thick haha

Yes, generally you will see that the edge of the L shaped washer is just about level with step that the bearing sits on. I make sure it's not sitting proud and preventing the bearing from seating properly.
