I know they can all suffer, especially Vespas but my Lambretta is too weavy/wobbly when pick up speed. It's got new fork bearings, rubbers, springs and shocks. Tyres are SIP (front 20 PSI and back 30 PSI) and the rims are original Innocenti. Back shock is a Scootopia one. I know the forks and frame are straight and the hub is okay. Any ideas? I've swapped the tyres front to back but it's still bad.

Just an idea , The Forks arent over tightend are they? as in not free enough a little bit of tightness in the bearings can cause weaving ?

I have had a similar problem in the past but it was when I slowed down. It turned out to be the front hub bearings

Hub Bearings ? and is the hub shaft tightened correctly ?

I'd go with Toddys thoughts above re slightly overtightened fork bearings.

They need to be "just right" and are correct when there is no discernible play AND they drop to right or left when the bike has its front wheel not touching the floor.- it is fiddly to achieve.

Possibly worn engine mounts or loose engine bar.

had a similar problem a couple of years ago, turned out to be a slightly bent fork link which with the wheel in still looked straight and the bike passed a couple of MOT's with but once out of the forks and lined up side by side, you could see how much on the p155 it was. Paul

Thanks everyone, the replies made me check the hub out which was fine. I then noticed the forks were loose pulling them backwards and forwards. I put a new bearing in the top.

Also a fairly easy mistake the put the bottom fork bearing in upside down.
