Right new bits arrived but clutch still slipping..
New plates MK (been in soak 24 hrs)
Spider filed and fettled (very smooth)
With clutch compressed good play on plates(alah stickys book)
Infact put together to the letter of the law (alah stickys book)
BUT still slips like a bitch..dropped cable off and ran without it but still slipped.
Only thing not changed is the springs, could this be IT..

Its good practice to always change your springs as they will soften over time and they only cost a few quid. If the clutch is slipping with new plates then the springs will replacing for some uprated ones such as MB, AF or Taff items.

There is a fair bit of rock on the crown wheel, to be honest the whole internals could do with skipping and starting again..

I had some slip and it turned out to be the kick start spring which had over ridden its slot and was push on the top plate....spring was worn, different side casing and it was fine.

New spider, new plates, new mega strong springs (MBD),.....STILL SLIPS..Tried different crown wheel but still rocks..
Good news is it onlys slips if you let rip which I am presuming would be under load, if you amble along and build speed steady it doesnt slip..aarrgg what the hell it can stay like that for now bored off stripping and re building just wanna ride, come november get that skip ready Eden..
One thing I have noticed is with the new springs in a lot stronger lever..nylon cable as well,
Great service from MB by the way(cheers phil) and quality springs, even got a scooterotica flyer in me bag..
